It’s been said that real estate is about location, location, location, but that’s only part of the story. Price, condition, competition, market conditions, etc., all factor into the sale of real estate. As a realtor acting on your behalf, my goal would be for a speedy sale, for the highest price, with a minimum amount of disruption to you. Equally as important, I would add objectivity to an inherently emotional transaction.

For over a decade I have been assisting homeowners with their sales. As no two transactions are alike, my experience allows me to anticipate – and handle – the pitfalls that will inevitably rise along the way, to make sure the sale stays on track.

Some of the services I provide are:

  • Work with you to determine a price. The price is really the most important part of marketing your home. I’ll provide up-to-date market conditions and recent sales, so we can together agree on an aggressive yet realistic asking price.
  • A comprehensive marketing program, encompassing on-line, direct mail, print, on-site, agent-to-agent, and other avenues to ensure your home is made visible to the maximum amount of potential buyers.
  • Suggestions on how best to prepare your home. First impressions are critical, so arranging your home to best appeal to buyers will be instrumental in enhancing buyer interest. I would provide you with a complimentary hour of consultation with home stagers, to maximize your home’s appeal.
  • Guide you through the required paperwork and disclosures.
  • Work with you in negotiating offers, including ensuring the buyers are financially qualified.
  • Attend the home inspection, so we can knowledgeably counter any issues that might arise from the buyers’ agent.
  • Suggest attorneys to work with for the Purchase & Sale document, and assist you in understanding this phase of the transaction.
  • Meet with the fire marshal for the smoke detector / carbon monoxide compliance certificate, and coordinate utility readings.
  • Recommend movers, tradespeople, etc., and recommend a realtor should you need one for your next move.
  • Attend the final walk-through with the buyer, and coordinate the closing.
