As a buyer, engaging the services of an experienced local agent to act on your behalf is critical towards a successful transaction.

Purchasing property is usually the largest financial transaction most people enter into. Whether you’re a first time buyer, or have purchased and sold property before, it is always advantageous to have a realtor working on your behalf. Most often, the buyer’s agent fee is paid by the seller from the sale proceeds, so there is no cost to you, as the buyer, to have your own representation.

From the time you decide to purchase a home, until the day the front door key is handed over to you, I will work diligently to make sure you buy the home that is right for you! I have been assisting clients for well over a decade, and can ably guide you through the process.

No two transactions are exactly the same. My experience allows me to anticipate – and handle – the inevitable pitfalls along the way, to make sure the sale stays on track.

Some of the services I provide are:

  • Meet with you to discuss what you are looking for. It’s not really just location, location, location. There are many other factors to consider: price, style, condition, size, neighborhood, schools, public transportation access, etc. This meeting will help us focus on what’s best for you. At this time, we would also discuss the entire purchasing process.
  • Recommend lenders for the pre-approval, if needed.
  • Send you listings that fit your criteria, so you don’t waste time poring through properties that make no sense for you.
  • Preview properties that interest you. I can visit them first, so you don’t waste time visiting homes you won’t like.
  • Guide you through the offer process, help with all the forms, and ensure the seller has disclosed all necessary information. I would prepare for you a market analysis, to make sure the offer price is consistent with similar homes in the neighborhood. I’d use my negotiating skills to get you the best price and terms.
  • Recommend thorough and reputable home inspectors. I would attend the home inspection with you, review the results with you, and discuss any further action that may be needed from the inspection.
  • Suggest attorneys to work with for the Purchase & Sale document, and assist you in understanding this phase of the purchase.
  • Recommend movers, lenders, tradespeople, etc., that you may need during this time.
  • Attend the walk-through with you just prior to the closing, to ensure the home is in the condition you expect, and any agreed-to repairs have been completed by the seller.
  • Attend the closing, and congratulate you on your new home!
